Seeking Accountability, Answers, or Justice – Ensuring Your Loved One's Story is Heard

We restrict our practice to nursing homes, assisted living, and group home cases to ensure we have the knowledge and skills to hold large companies accountable.

Bedsore Cases

At Eadie Law, we represent families suffering from nursing home negligence, particularly in cases involving bedsores.

We understand that bedsores are often preventable and can be a serious sign of abuse or neglect. We investigate these cases thoroughly to determine whether a nursing home failed to provide adequate care, allowing a bedsore to worsen or even lead to the death of a loved one.

Our team of experienced lawyers is dedicated to finding answers for families and holding negligent facilities accountable.

Preventable Fall Cases

While falls are common among older adults, many are preventable with proper care and safety measures.

At Eadie Law, we understand the devastating impact a fall can have on a nursing home resident, leading to broken bones, brain bleeds, and other serious injuries.

We fight for families who believe their loved one’s fall was caused by negligence, such as inadequate staffing or insufficient training. We work tirelessly to uncover the truth and hold companies and individuals accountable for failing to provide a safe environment for their residents.

Choking Death Cases

Unfortunately, choking deaths are a serious concern, particularly among older adults, with the National Safety Council reporting that over half of choking deaths each year occur in people over the age of 74.

We are dedicated to holding negligent facilities accountable for preventable choking deaths. No nursing home resident should ever be at risk of choking or suffocating while under their care.

Our team of experienced attorneys is dedicated to uncovering the truth and seeking justice for families who have lost loved ones to preventable choking incidents in nursing homes.

Wandering Off (Elopement) Cases

Wandering Off (Elopement) Cases

We understand the devastating consequences of a nursing home resident wandering off, or “eloping,” as it is known in legal terms.

When seniors with fading cognitive abilities can move freely but struggle to recall dangers, they are at risk of serious injuries or even death. Facilities are responsible for ensuring these residents are safe and protected from wandering off.

We have experience investigating cases in which companies and individuals failed to prevent residents from wandering off, resulting in injury or death.

Sexual Assault Cases

Sexual assault of the elderly, particularly those with cognitive or memory issues, is distressingly common, worsened by profit-focused corporations.

Research from the National Center on Elder Abuse reveals alarming statistics. Authorities estimate that for every reported case of elder abuse, neglect, exploitation, or self-neglect, about five more cases go unreported.

Eadie Law focuses on handling cases involving sexual assaults in nursing homes. We will help you sue sexual abuse perpetrators and seek justice for you or your loved one in nursing homes.

Medication Error Cases

Medication Error Cases

There is a national crisis being exposed within our elderly communities – to accommodate more residents with less staff, some nursing homes overmedicate their residents, violating people’s right to age with dignity.

According to Human Rights Watch (HRW), nursing facilities are knowingly endangering their residents by participating in this practice.

We are dedicated to holding nursing homes accountable for medication errors that cause injuries or suffering. If you believe your loved one has been the victim of a medication error in a nursing home, we encourage you to contact us for a free consultation.
